Who we are

Taxeo is operated by Taxeo Information Technologies SRL/BV, a company incorporated under the laws of Belgium, with registered seat at Rue Père de Deken 14, 1040 Etterbeek, Belgium, and registered under company number 1035.969.797. Taxeo is the controller of the personal data described here. Questions: info@taxeo.ai.

What Taxeo collects and why

•When you browse taxeo.ai: technical data (browser type, pages viewed, buttons clicked) tied to an anonymous session identifier that disappears when you close the tab or after 30 minutes of inactivity. Your IP address is used only momentarily to protect the site against abuse and is not stored with this data. We use this to understand how the site is used and to improve it.

•When you book a demo: your email address, company type and message, so that we can get back to you. The form is delivered to us by FormSubmit.co.

•When you have an account: your name, email address and firm, handled by our authentication provider Clerk, together with basic usage data needed to run the service, apply usage quotas and improve it. The questions and documents you submit are processed by our AI providers, currently Anthropic and Mistral, solely to answer you; neither we nor they use them to train AI models. Where your firm has a separate agreement with us, its terms prevail.

•If something breaks: error reports (including browser details and, for signed-in users, your identifier) go to our self-hosted error tracker so we can fix bugs.

Cookies and similar storage

•Strictly necessary: Clerk session cookies (__session, __client_uat), set only when you sign in; your language preference, stored in your browser.

•Analytics: PostHog (hosted in the EU) helps us understand product usage. All text and form input is masked before it leaves your browser. You can block these cookies in your browser settings without affecting the site.

Your rights

You may ask to access, correct, delete or receive your data, or object to its processing, by writing to info@taxeo.ai. You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).
